Welcome to Edupoto Mobile! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and services. By accessing or using Edupoto Mobile, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the app.

1. Definitions

  • "App": The Edupoto Mobile application.

  • "Services": Includes online school material purchases, school fee payments, and school card (pocket money) transactions.

  • "User": Any individual (parent, student, or guardian) using the app.

  • "School": The educational institution registered with Edupoto.

  • "School Card": A digital wallet for student pocket money management.

2. Account Registration

  • Users must provide accurate information during registration.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for student accounts linked to theirs.

  • Keep login credentials secure; you are responsible for all activities under your account.

3. Services Provided

A. Online School Material Purchases

  • Users can purchase books, uniforms, and other school supplies.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Delivery timelines depend on the school’s policies.

B. School Fee Payments

  • Payments must be made before due dates.

  • Transaction receipts will be provided via email/app.

  • Late fees (if applicable) are determined by the school.

C. School Card (Pocket Money)

  • Parents/guardians can load funds into a student’s digital wallet.

  • Students can use the card at approved school vendors.

  • Unused funds may be rolled over or refunded per school policy.

4. Payments & Refunds

  • Accepted payment methods: Mobile money, credit/debit cards, bank transfers.

  • Refunds for incorrect purchases must be requested within 7 days.

  • Processing fees may apply for refunds.

5. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate payment details.

  • Report unauthorized transactions immediately.

  • Comply with school policies regarding fund usage.

6. Privacy & Data Security

  • Edupoto collects personal and payment data securely.

  • Data may be shared with schools for verification purposes only.

  • Read our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Prohibited Activities

  • Fraudulent transactions.

  • Unauthorized access to accounts.

  • Misuse of the School Card for non-school expenses.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Edupoto is not liable for:

    • Delays in delivery of materials.

    • School fee disputes (resolve directly with the school).

    • Losses due to incorrect payment details.

9. Amendments

  • Edupoto may update these Terms; users will be notified.

  • Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

10. Termination

  • Edupoto may suspend accounts for violations.

  • Users may deactivate accounts by contacting support.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda.
